BANGALORE: The High Court on Thursday stayed the transfer of autorickshaw permits over a petition which claimed that the transfers were continuing in the city despite notifications against it being issued by the Road Transport Authority and the state government.
The petitioner Somashekar, while stating that despite the two bodies issuing the notifications in this regard in 2005 and 2008 respectively, 75,000 such permits have been transferred after passing the orders.
