BANGALORE: Sir MVIT College celebrated its annual college day recently with Dr S Mohan, visiting Professor, Centre for Nano — Sciences and Engineering, IISc presiding over the event.

During the event, the college magazine, Brindavana was released.

Awards were presented to the outstanding students of the year in academics, sports and cultural activities.

K V Sekhar Raju, Secretary of Sri Krishnadevaraya Educational Trust addressed the gathering and said that he was pleased with performance of students in academics, placement, infrastructure and the ambience provided by the organisation.

Recollecting his days as a student Dr S Mohan, motivated students towards academic achievements and the importance of their contribution towards the educational sector by publishing research papers.

At the event, K Narayana Raju (Vice-President), K V Sekhar Raju (Secretary), M Varada Raju, V Anantha Raju, K Muniswamy Raju, Gopala Raju (trustees of Sri Krishnadevaraya Educational Trust), and Professor K R Kini were present.
