Youth robbed of gold ornaments

Unidentified miscreants robbed a youth of his valuables in Nagarbhavi near Deewar Restaurant in the wee hours of Wednesday. According to the police, around 2 am, the victim Dinesh, in an inebriated state, was smoking on a pavement.

The miscreants who came in a Maruti car stopped near Dinesh and demanded cigarettes from.

When Dinesh said he did not have any, the miscreants abused him and threatened to assault him if he did not give his valuables. They robbed him of a gold chain and rings and Rs 1,000 and fled, the police said. The Jnanbharthi police have registered a case in this connection.
