To commemorate International Day of persons with Disabilities, FAME India organised an Inter school sports meet on December 3 at Kittur Rani Chennamma kreedangana, Jayanagar.
This year’s UN theme for International Day of persons with disabilities is: Removing barriers to create an inclusive and accessible society. The main aim behind the inter-school sports meet was to bring the students of special schools and mainstream schools together.
This was an opportunity extended to students to exhibit their sports talents and interact with each other to create awareness about children with special needs. Seven special schools and seven main stream schools participated in the event.
