Three drivers were killed and another severely injured when a speeding tipper rammed into their car on Jangamana Kote road near Hoskote on Monday.
The deceased have been identified as Pradeep,(23), a resident of Nadavathi in Hoskote, Satish Kumar,(25), of Guttahalli in Kolar and Ravi Kumar, (30), of Dodda Nalluralli in Hoskote. The injured, Ramesh,(30), was shifted to NIMHANS Hospital, where his condition is said to be critical. They all are working as drivers at ITC company.
According to the police, the incident took place at 9.30 pm when they were returning home in the car, which was going towards Hoskote. Meanwhile a speeding tipper, which was loaded with mud, rammed into the car from behind. Two of them were killed on the spot while Ravi, who was driving the car, died while being shifted to a nearby hospital, the police said.
