It is time to reveal yourself to God

No bad luck will follow you. Nothing that is troublesome to you, your well-being, your family or your surroundings will ever come near you again. Why? This is because God is the main door. God will be your fence and he will protect you. He is going to be your watchman. He is going to be your servant. What does he want in return from you? Nothing but your surrender. You have to lay at his feet your ignorance. You have to lay at his feet your obedience. You always have to ask and plead with Him “Dear God, I am not able to see you. Why don’t you show yourself to me? Let me be blessed by seeing you.” And definitely God will reveal himself to you, if not today, then tomorrow. Till today, all those who have pleaded with God, asking him for his mercy and forgiveness, have finally seen him. Whatever be the form in which you worship Him - Narayana, Krishna, Jesus Christ or any other, God will reveal himself to you in all his glory.

So, the first step is to ask for his forgiveness. Once you have done that, you suddenly feel very light. You suddenly feel very clam and peaceful. Why? You have unburdened yourself. You have shed all the guilt that was gnawing at your heart like a worm. When you unburden yourself like this everyday, you find an abundance of peace and serenity within yourself. You find that happiness overpowers and envelopes you. You have to practice this. Since you don’t begin your day with a prayer asking for His forgiveness, you are filled with too much tension and pressure as soon as you wake up in the morning. And, that has taken away the beautiful, glowing radiance from your face. Start practising this from tomorrow. And I’m very sure, that after a couple of days, the people around you will definitely come and tell you - “Look, now there’s a lot of change in your face. There is a glow on your face. What is the reason for this?” And you can tell them - ”I have started a beautiful practice. I have acquired a wonderful habit. I have started unburdening myself everyday to God.”

You have to unburden yourselves everyday to God. What are you going to unburden? Anything you like. All of you are used to praying. And what were your prayers like till today? Your prayers are nothing but wants. You are always asking. You are not praying. You are begging everyday.

And what are your begging for? You’re begging for all your troubles to vanish, for various kinds of prosperity, for power, position, status or something that’s materialistic most of the time. ‘What will you beg for from today? You don’t have to beg God for anything. You only have to ask him to reveal himself to you. There’s nothing wrong in asking for this. How will you do this?
