Start talking to God. So, the second step is to start talking to him. What will you talk to God about? Talk about anything you like. Will it be wrong to ask God for materialistic prosperity? It will not be wrong. You can ask God for anything you want. He is there only to bless you and to give you what you want. Whatever you ask for will definitely come to you and will certainly reach you. But, when will it reach you? As soon as your karma gets subjugated and absolved. Then everything will start flowing to you. Whatever you have ever asked God for till today has already reached Him. You will begin receiving these things as soon as your karma gets absolved. You will be surprised. But, it will happen. It will certainly happen. Most people do not know how to absolve their bad karma.
That is the reason good things reach them only in their next lives. That is why we see children born in affluent families. These children are born not with silver spoons but golden spoons in their mouths. We also see children born on the street side. Both these things happen because their karma has caught up with them. So, what do we do to absolve our karma? We start talking to God.
The second step is to begin talking to God. Talk to God about whatever you like. The more you talk to Him within yourself, the greater is the peace and happiness you experience. Prosperity will definitely not lag far behind. All your wishes will materialise.
Now we come to the third step. Tell God, “God, I have so much pride within me. Please take away this pride. Please remove this pride with which I am operating. Please remove all this pride that is inside me. Teach me to be humble, my God.” So, the removal of pride and vanity is the third step you take. Pride and vanity are the root cause of all your problems. They constitute the ego. You have to remove your pride and vanity. Until they are removed you cannot commune with God. There can never be any communion with God as long as they exist. They are the greatest stumbling blocks between you and God. And who has given you this pride and vanity? You, yourself. You may think that the society around your has given it to you. No, you yourself are solely responsible for acquiring these. Get rid of the pride and vanity within and you can definitely see and talk to God directly.
