Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Chetpet, celebrated its 26th Annual Day on its school premises on Saturday. Amit Sharma, executive director, Abeima, Spain, was the chief guest for the event.
In his presidential address, the chief guest highlighted the importance of environment conservation. This was followed by an hour-long prize distribution cermoney during which meritorious students of Classes 10 and 12 were felicitated. Proficiency prizes for Class 11 students and prizes for students who had excelled in sports events during the current academic year were given.
The management honoured teachers and non-teaching staff with awards for their services.
