BANGALORE: Spandana, a social organisation has alleged that Primary and Secondary Education Minister Vishveshwar Hegde Kageri has failed to release money for imparting education to poor children.

Addressing a news conference on Thursday, Veena, volunteer, Spandana said, the Union government had released Rs 452 crore to Karnataka under the Sarva Shikshana Abhiyan, but part of the money had not been released to the Keonics which imparts computer training to children. It seems that the state government has diverted that money for some other purposes other than what it was granted for, she claimed.
