BANGALORE: Radiate Art, Research Development Society held a painting exhibition and ‘Varna Spandana,’ a national-level painting competition at Bal Bhavan recently. Over 100 students participated in the event.

Speaking about the young artists who participated in the event Kirti Kumar Hegde, director of Radiate Art, said, “I have been teaching painting from past 12 years and my aim is to encourage young artist in the field of painting.”

The students who participated in the national-level painting competition were those who were chosen from inter-school competitions. The participants were divided into seven categories and were given an opportunity to paint anything of their choice. The prizes were distributed by G Ramnath, general secretary of All India Manufacture Association.
