BANGALORE: The High Court on Tuesday adjourned the petition filed by Kumar Jagirdar, biological father of Anil Kumble’s custodial daughter, for final hearing.
Jagirdar had sought action against Police Department for not acting against former cricketer for forging his signature in daughter’s passport.
The Police Department in their objection stated that, according to Kumble’s statement and the investigation, it was revealed that Kumble had not committed forgery, impersonation or cheating or any congnisable offence, and it cannot be said that both Chethana and Kumble had committed any offence as alleged in the complaint.
After hearing the arguments on both sides, Justice Abdul Nazeer adjourned the matter for final hearing on the case.
