BANGALORE: Four persons sustained severe injuries after they rammed their car into a KSRTC bus near T Begur in Nelamangala on Sunday. The injured have been identified as Ravikumar, Girish, Bhosle and Rajashekhar, all residents of Nelamangala.

The police said that they were coming from Tumkur Road towards Bangalore and the driver lost control over the vehicle. He crossed the road median and moved to the other lane. Eventually, a KSRTC bus going to Tumkur hit the car head-on. The four was severely injured in the accident.

Immediately, all the four were rushed to a nearby hospital where they are reportedly recovering.

Nelamangala Rural police registered a case in this connection.

Worker Falls into Sump, Dies

Lakshminarayan Singh, 22, a construction worker, died after he accidentally fell from a tractor into a sump. He died as mud engraved him in the sump at the construction site behind the Police Commissioner’s office on Friday evening.

Cubbon Park police registered a case and are investigating.
