BANGALORE: Upset over his wife’s attempt to suicide, a security supervisor with a private firm hanged himself at his residence in Vivekanandanagar on Sunday.
The deceased, Umesh, 30, was married to Savita for 12 years and the couple had two sons. The police said that the couple quarrelled over a trivial issue on Saturday evening, and upset over this, Savita had consumed poison. Umesh shifted her to a private hospital and returned home. Dejected over his wife’s bid for suicide, he hanged himself in a room. The incident came to light when the children woke up in the morning. However, Savita is said to be recovering at the hospital.
