BANGALORE: Rotaract Club of Welingkar Bangalore, which is a part of Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool) at Electronic City, in association with Rotary Bangalore Junction hosted the ‘All India End Polio Now’ road show recently. This was organised by Road Show Team of Rotarians in order to spread awareness on polio eradication. A convoy of cars and bikes were driven by students and faculty of WeSchool from Gate 1 of Electronic City to the college campus to further spread the message. Dr Anil Rao Paila, dean and director of Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research said, “It was an enriching experience for the students of WeSchool who aspire to contribute to the society at large not only as managers but also as responsible citizens. Conducting such activities and addressing social issues like this will definitely help them evolve as
tomorrow’s leaders.”
At the event, students were made to understand the same along with the different measures and techniques to be adopted to ensure a polio free environment.
