Students need to stay focused, excited, committed and flexible to reach greater heights in life,’ was the message given by Brindha Sankara Raman, delivery excellence lead for India, Microsoft. Speaking at the inaugural function of ‘Energia 2012’, a national level technical symposium organised by the department of electrical and electronics engineering of Sakthi Mariamman Engineering College, Thandalam, on February 11, she stressed the importance for hard work and a positive attitude for success.

Principal Dr K Vijaya Bhaskar Raju inaugurated the symposium. A Krishna Moorthy, professor and head of department (EEE), welcomed the chief guest. Students and staff of the college participated in the event.
