Dreaming big about space adventures and etching out scenes of a world bereft of non-renewable resources, the budding scientists of Kamaraj Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Old Washermanpet, gave flight to their imagination at the Science Talent Fest 2012 held at the school on February 11.

With more than 200 projects on diverse themes, including global warming and its adverse effects, the students underlined the need for awareness and action for a sustainable future.

The tech-savvy model of the Chandrayaan space shuttle, intriguing projects on the science behind volcanic eruptions, and colourful displays on our country’s rich tradition and culture, received special appreciation from the visitors.

On the occasion, chief guests J M Aarun Rashid, MP, and film producer S A Chandrasekhar distributed prizes to the students.
