BANGALORE: The sleuths of the organised crime wing of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested a miscreant and his five aides, who had allegedly hatched a plot to rob a businessman.

The accused are Arun Kumar, 26, Vasu, 23, Kantharaju, 24, Manjunath, 22, Srikanta Prasadi, 33, and Karthikeyan, 28.

According to police, one of the accused, Arun Kumar, was a former employee of United Distributors. He was terminated for alleged misconduct. Arun, who was aware of his employer’s day-to-day activities, hatched a plot to rob him. Based on a tip off, the police arrested Arun and his aides.
