BANGALORE: A trip to Bangalore proved costly for a 73-year-old woman, who lost a gold chain worth `3 lakh on Sunday.
Police said Premavathi, a native of Tamil Nadu, was in the city to attend a wedding ceremony. She was staying at her daughter’s house in Basavanagudi. At about 4.40 pm on Sunday, Premavathi went out for a walk. Near South Thindis Hotel, two unidentified micreats on Pulsar bike, approached her and fled with her chain. Premavathi lodged a complaint with the Basavanagudi police.
