BANGALORE: The High Court on Tuesday issued notices to the state government and Rajarajeshwari Nagar MLA M Srinivas in connection with a Public Interest Litigation petition seeking action against construction of houses under Ashraya Yojane in Pantarapalya Lake.
The petitioner, Nagendra and others, stated that if the government and the MLA build houses in the proposed area they would destroy the lake. They appealed the Court to direct them to construct houses in some other place. The division bench issued notices and adjourned the case.
