BANGALORE: National Science Week celebrations began at Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum on Wednesday.  As part of the celebrations, the museum is organising various events for high school students. The celebrations will be on till Saturday. The event started with a students’ seminar. Around 25 schools participated in the seminar. Two students represented each school.

This six-day event will see various competitions such as Discover treasure of Science Contest, drama contest on ‘Science and Society’, final rounds of district-level science quiz, painting contest and the grand finale will feature fancy dress competition, science slogan display and a human chain will be formed to make the public aware on the prominence of the day.

On the final day, Ramachandra Budihal, Principal Research and Lead Architect, Wipro Technologies Limited, will deliver a lecture on ‘Inspiring Innovations in the Young Minds.’
