BANGALORE: A 35-year-old pedestrian was killed on the spot after a lorry ran over him in front of Muneshwara Temple at Dooravaninagar in A Narayanapura in KR Puram traffic police station limit

BANGALORE: A 35-year-old pedestrian was killed on the spot after a lorry ran over him in front of Muneshwara Temple at Dooravaninagar in A Narayanapura in KR Puram traffic police station limits on Sunday.  The deceased Natarajan, 35, was a painter,  residing near the Muneshwara Temple.

The police said that the deceased had left home in the morning to go for work. When he was crossing the road,  a lorry transporting  sand knocked him down and killed him on the spot.

The lorry driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene fearing public wrath.

The K R Puram traffic police  registered a case and seized the vehicle. They are  on the lookout for him.
