Soon, the movie title Lucky will be declared as a synonym to the male protagonist of the movie, Yash. He was thronged by his fans, who were in a frenzy over his appearance at an event conducted in the city recently and they all called him —Lucky.

Yash looked elated over the positive response he got for his new release Lucky. Speaking to City Express about his experience while working on the movie, he said, “The movie is a romantic-comedy but with a breath of fresh air. I essay the role of two characters in movie in order to woo the heroine.” When questioned on what makes this film different from other romantic comedies flooding the market, he replied there were several twists in the tale. “The heroine’s pet, a dog, plays a major role in the film. Almost on par with the hero. This is a new concept not seen before in the romantic movies in

sandalwood.”

It did look like he had a blast working on this movie. For, he said, “Working on the movie was fun as we got to do a lot of experimentation. There was a lot of interaction between the artistes as we explored various means by which we could make the scenes and shots look better. This worked for us as most members of the cast and crew belonged to the same age group.”

However, he also said that not all was fun while shooting as he had experimented with his looks constantly.

“The trimming of my beard that resembles zebra stripes was the most difficult part as I had to spend nearly an hour to get the perfect look. This look was a requirement for my role as an aspiring director of advertisement films,” he added.

Profusely happy with the adulation and adoration he received on the first day of his show, Yash said, “I am overwhelmed by the response I got for my movie on the first day of

its release.

To see my fans imitate my style like sporting the beard is something I am proud off.

Yash won accolades for his debut movie Moggina Manasu and even bagged the Filmfare award for ‘The Best Supporting Actor’ for his performance

in the film.
