BANGALORE: BBMP Commissioner M K Shankaralinge Gowda has set a deadline for officials to configure property details with the new Property Identification (PID) numbers. The BBMP had issued PID numbers to each property under Geographical Information System (GIS).
The Commissioner, on Saturday, instructed all zonal level revenue officials to configure the property value details with the PID number by January 15, 2012.
In the recent review meeting, Commissioner had asked officials to send notices to the property owners to give their property details and PID number by January 31, 2012.
According to a press release, BBMP officials have got only 20,000 property owners details.
As many as 9.5 lakh property details left out. In order to cover those details, the Commissioner asked his officials to take 250 property details in each ward everyday.
He also told them to set a target everyday and cover them on priority basis.
