BANGALORE: On the occasion of new year students at the Baldwin Methodist College in the city spread a unique peace message of world love and brotherhood. They presented various messages of peace and love through various forms of expressions such as plays  and presentations.

While others following modern and western culture in the city, Baldwin Methodist College stood out from the pack by celebrating new year with a theme. Students spread the message stating that it is necessary to cultivate a peaceful mind set and put an end to terrorism as people have suffered from the social-evil in many parts of the world which is also causing trouble between countries.

The college also sent out a message stating that there is need to employ the principles of peace and brotherhood, the messages passed by Jesus Christ. The plays and presentations by the students were highlight of the event. The other attractions of the event were Christmas tree display and Santa Claus. The student community of the college basked themselves in a feeling of goodwill even after the programme. “All students and lecturers cooperated enthusiastically when a proposal to conduct a programme was put forward. The youth should concentrate there more with the messages given by our students in this regard,” said Dr Joshwa Samuel Principal of the college. Students took part in large number and encouraged the participants.
