BANGALORE: A 17-year-old youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the corridor of the first floor of the government school in Arundhathinagar in Chandra Layout police station limits on Monday.

The deceased, Kiran, was a resident of Arundhathinagar. Police suspect that he might have been murdered as there are wounds found on his head. Kiran’s parents had passed away so he used to staying with his aunt.

 Police said that the boy had left home about 15 days ago and had not returned. Passers-by found his body in the school’s corridor on Monday and informed the police. “It is suspected that he was a drug addict as solution bottle was found near his body. His friends might have killed him by banging his head into the wall. However, the exact reason for the death is yet to be ascertained,” the police said.
