BANGALORE: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) after receiving positive feedback from passengers on Any Where Any Time Advance Reservation (AWATAR) scheme, has decided to offer ticketless travelling facilites to KSRTC passengers.

The facility which is available for a few months now, KSRTC encourages passengers to make use of the facility, where passengers can book  e-tickets on his/her mobile phone through logging into www.ksrtc.in/mobile or m.ksrtc.in.

No separate mobile application is needed to book the tickets. The passenger will have to register to enable the   mobile booking facility and will receive a confirmation message with details of the journey which can then be used by the passenger to travel without taking a printout of the ticket. The passenger would just have to produce a valid photo ID. 

New Buses KSRTC also announced the introduction of new Ambaari sleeper air conditioned service from Bangalore to Mantralaya from January 4 and Bangalore-Mangalore via Puttur from January 9 and Airavat services from Bangalore to Sadalaga via Belgaum from January 9.
