BANGALORE: Following the state Cabinet’s approval of `11.90 crore for repair and construction of road in Jnana Bharathi campus, Bangalore University Vice-Chancellor Dr N Prabhu Dev has requested Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda and BBMP commissioner M K Shankarlinge Gowda to maintain greenery within the campus.
“I have requested them to implement the project at the earliest without affecting the environment of the campus and avoid tree cuttings and also adopt eco-friendly measures,” said Prabhu Dev in a press statement.
The vice chancellor further added, “Bangalore University anticipates cooperation and support from the state government, Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike, public, and media in all its developmental activities.”
