BANGALORE: Adventure race Enduro3 organised by  National Egg Co-ordination Committee- National Education Foundation (NECC-NEF) has invited teams from the city to take part in the event.  The adventure sport event which has been attracting adventure loving youth since its inception in 2003 is conducting its 10th event  this year.

From mere 48 teams, the participation has increased to more than 200 teams today. The distinction of this event lies in the compulsory girls’ participation in every team (Introduced in 2009). The race has 12 different categories,seven adventure disciplines such as Trekking, Mountain Cycling, Kayaking, River crossing, Rappelling, Orienteering and .22 Rifle Shooting.

The promoters have claimed that Enduro3 introduces new categories or makes changes from the previous editions and this is the only race that has participation of mixed teams that includes families and people from different professions like police,teacher,doctors etc.

This year Enduro3 will take place on February 25 and 26  through the panoramic Sahyadri ranges and the team will cover almost 200 km distance in the race.
