The People’s campaign for right to water will protest against the Bangalore World Water Summit 2012 (BWWS2012) which according to them will lead to commodification, commercialisation and slowly privatisation water services.
A public event will be held on January 23 at Town Hall premise from 10.30 am onwards. Several eminent leaders and intellectuals, would be participating in the event. The campaign wants to inform the public some of the dangerous development related to this summit.
