Vanilla Children’s Place organised an origami workshop for children on January 15 on its premises in Mylapore. The event conducted under the ‘What are You learning Today?’ workshop series, witnessed young participants learn different ways of cutting and shaping paper animals out of paper. Giving free rein to their imagination the enthusiastic children created owls, parrots, woodpeckers, penguins, swans, dogs, frogs, lady bug, bats and a cute little Indian elephant. The beautiful paper craft was taught by Tasneem Ilayas who holds a diploma in Montessori education and conducts art and craft workshops for children.
