Clear your head of all the baggage

BANGALORE: As human beings we all carry guilt, disappointment, anger, pain and much more. How do we come out of this mind which works, sleeps, wakes, thinks and breathes with clutter. We crave for inner fulfilment, to have our mind touched by something greater than oneself, the metaphysical. Mindstitute offers to acquaint you with unique tools to release the amassed debris from your nerve channels.

“The approach to the human mind is via a common-sensical system of scientific healing — the Central Nervous System (CNS).  CNS is the channel through which our thoughts and emotions flow. Therefore, it can be assumed that the debris of the mind such as greed, lust, envy, anger also pass through CNS and much of this debris is deposited here, thereby blocking our nerve channels, causing clutter in our CNS, not allowing evolving, blissful and pure energies to flow,” says Tarini Kapoor owner of Mindstitute.

Kapoor says that the idea is to lead people to understand themselves and their inner powers. “The programme is based on the law of attraction and positive energy. We encourage them to dwell on their inner strengths and then teach them to manifest the same in their day to day life,” she says.

The programme is divided into three segments. The first, Head Work is based on the principle of thought process. There are three seeds of power in the brain when it comes to thought — high, higher and highest thought. Feelings of anger and pain fall under the first segment, while freedom from judgement falls under the last,” explains Kapoor.

The second programme, Are You Out of Your Mind is created to rid the CNS of all the debris and the baggage it has been carrying all these years. “Thoughts are nothing but neuron transmissions. It is the by-product of when energy flows through the CNS. For example, when we are stressed the frequency of the transmissions increases drastically. Like everything else, the energy that passes through the CNS also leaves some residue. Through meditation and breathing exercises, we encourage the participant to cleanse the CNS so that their future thoughts are not affected by the negativity of the past,” asserts Kapoor.

The last phase is an Empowerment Series. Here it is all about teaching and empowering the mind. “This series focuses on the scientific aspect of thought and self involvement. The participants are taught how to control their thoughts and how to reduce the frequency. This is usually done once in three months and requires nine sessions.  The Lotus Empowerment Series is a part of the last programme, is a gateway to the inner unity of the mind, that leads to full expression of one’s “potential” nature. “This series has been created to provide spiritual resources, which enhance the human potential through meditation. In today’s times, where the furious pace of survival itself overwhelms all other compulsions, many turn to different methods of handling such stress. One of the uppermost causes for concern would be the potential burn-out! This state of mind needs to be addressed. If ignorance and frustration remain festering within us, sooner or later they give rise to disease and suffering,” says Kapoor. The three day long programme takes the participants to calmer and quieter countries where nature is its prime. Kapoor explains that the reason behind this is that in countries like New Zealand, nature has been left as it is. “When one meditates in such environment, where the force of gravity is stronger, it is easier to rid yourselves of negative thoughts,” she expresses.

After over a year of practice and dedication, Kapoor developed her own techniques to deal with professional stress. “I had a great job in Dubai. It paid well and I was at a very enviable post. Yet there was an empty feeling. So I did a course in meditation and felt better after it. I practiced religiously and then began sharing my techniques with friends. It helped them as well. I guess that motivated me to start Mindstitute,” she says.

Kapoor’s course cost approximately Rs 15,000 for adults for the first two programmes and Rs 27,000 for the Lotus Empowerment Series. For further details log onto www.mindstitute.com
