BANGALORE: In wake of Republic Day Ceremonial Parade at Field Marshal Manekshaw Parade Ground on Cubbon Road on Thursday, the city traffic police have made the traffic arrangements in and around the ground as follows:
Invitees with Yellow Car Passes should come on Cubbon Road and enter Gate No 1 and park their vehicles on the western side of Parade Ground, while White Car Pass holders and the Secretaries to the Government, Military Officers, Police Officers, etc, are requested to use Gate No 2 in front of Military Supply Depot and park their vehicles on North Eastern side of parking lot, the police said in a press release on Tuesday.
Traffic will be diverted from 8.30 am to 10.30 am from BRV Junction to Kamaraj Road Juntion (both directions) on Cubbon Road.
Vehicles coming from CTO Circle towards Manipal Centre on Cubbon road should take left turn on Central Street at BRV Jn and then move as follows - Central Street jn - Right Turn - Infantry Road - Safina Plaza - Left Turn - Main Guard Road - Allies Circle - Dispensary Road - Kamaraja Road & Dickenson Road jn - Right Turn - K R Road - K R Road Jn-Left Turn-and Cubbon Road onwards to Manipal Centre Jn.
Vehicle coming from Manipal Jn towards CTO Jn on Cubbon Road will take left turn at K R Road jn towards - Cauvery Art & Crafts Circle Jn - Right Turn - M G Road - Anil Kumble Circle - Right Turn - BRV Jn - Left Turn - and on to CTO Circle.
Vehicle coming from Anil Kumble Circle towards Cubbon Road will go straight on Central Street Jn - Right Turn - Infantry Road - Safina Plaza - Left Turn - Main Guard Road - Allies Circle - Dispensary Road - Kamaraja Road and Dickenson road jn - Right Turn - K R Road jn - Left Turn - and Cubbon Road onwards to Manipal Centre junction. Vehicles coming from Cauvery Arts & Craft Circle on M G Road going towards Cubbon Road and K R Road junction shall go straight on M G Road towards Anil Kumble Junction - Right Turn - BRV Junction - Left turn.
Due to security reasons all invitees and public have been requested to not carry mobile phones, cameras, radio, umbrella and any other equipment to the parade ground. Also, they are instructed to be seated before 8.30 am.
