Hairstyling sees a new entrant

Wahl introduces its grooming products that are available in the category of professional and consumer grooming appliances like hair clippers, hair trimmers and home animal grooming with fully coordinated pet product lines and personal care — massagers and hair styling products that are specifically designed to Indian specifications with the Indian plugs and cords.

To give a hair raising experience and to unravel the unfolding of a style revolution to consumers and salons, Simon Shaw, Wahl’s International creative director and international artistic instructor Michele Damiano along with the Indian Artistic Team conducted a personal grooming session with extensive range of clippers and personal trimmers and a Look & Learn seminar where new art of hair design was created.

According to Shaw, the clipper gives a hairstylist better manoeuvrability along with more options for styling. "The clippers are very safe unlike the scissors," he says. Don Seale, director far east sales, “We are delighted to launch Wahl products in India and we hope to ensure that Wahl remains the global leaders and maintain its leading position in clippers and trimmers in India.” Eight designers from across the country were chosen to be part of the Indian Artistic Team.

They were taken to London for an extensive session in using the clippers.

Savio John, a Mumbai based hairstylist says that the clipper reduces the time spent on styling the hair by half. “It saves me a lot of time. And the best part about the clipper is that the chances of getting split ends are much lesser,’’ he adds
