BANGALORE: Jnanpith awardee Chandrashekar Kambar has expressed his displeasure over the state government’s inordinate delay in making compulsory use of Unicode. At the state-level essay competition award distribution function organised by Kanaja here on Monday, he said, “Though the Government had assured to take adequate steps during the recently held Vishwa Kannada Sammelena, it failed to reach the expected level.” He  said that e-governance department could not do much about it.
