BANGALORE: Reacting to the government’s rejection of his RTI query over the ban imposed on him former ISRO chairman G Madhavan Nair said they cited Section 8 to deny him information.
“I asked three simple questions. What is the basis of the ban? What are the file notings and who authorised director DoS to issue the order banning us? What could have been replied to within 24 hours, they slept over it for a month,” Nair said.
“There is something fishy about the whole affair. Even after a clean chit was given to us by the Chaturvedi committee, they are still insisting on the ban,” Nair said.
