BANGLORE: A 35-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging at her residence at Garebavipalya, near Hongasandra on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Chaitra, native of Andra Pradesh.
She was married to Nandi, a garment factory worker.
According to police, the incident took place at her residence around 8.30 am.
Chaitra hung herself to the fan, using a saari.
Her 14-year-old child, who had gone to play found her body hanging and informed the neighbours, who informed the police.
Allegedly family dispute forced her to take this extreme step and a case has been registered at Madiwala police station.
