BANGALORE: “We were shocked to know that Vishnu is no more. He has left us in deep sorrow and nobody in the family has a clue why he took the extreme step,” said Vishnu Sharan’s uncle Lakshminarayana.

Vishnu, a first PU Computer Science student at St Joseph’s College, was a resident of Jayanagar Second Block. His father S V Sathyanarayana is a trader, while mother Nirmala is a home-maker. Vishnu’s elder sister Anvitha is married.

“Around 8.30 pm, some of our relatives called us and informed that Vishnu’s death news was being aired in news channels. Initially, we did not believe it. But, once the channels started showing his picture, we were heart-broken,” Lakshminarayana cried.

“He was very good at studies and had always scored high marks. He was a loner and had a very few friends and spoke very less. On Monday evening he had told his mother that he was going for tuitions in Wilson Garden and had left home. We got know about his death from TV channels,” he said. “Vishnu’s grandfather had died just 28-days-ago and we were disturbed by that. Now, we have another death at home,” he added.
