BANGALORE: Bangalore International Academy (BIA) aims to encourage holistic development and nurture the  young generation by providing creative and open environment.

To achieve the objective, BIA provides well-equipped science laboratories, a hi-tech IT laboratory and abacus programme, language lab, and a digital library equipped with magazines,

research material for projects, dailies and encyclopaedia. The academy collaborates with EduSports for specific outdoor and indoor sports, including billiards, air-hockey, table tennis, chess, carom, swimming and martial arts.

Other facilities include a gymnasium,  specially-designed board room, auditorium, cafeteria, hobby studio for dance, music and

an art studio.

BIA has its two wings affiliated to CBSE and State Board and are coming out with ICSE for the coming academic year. Also, the technical partners of BIA make this institution one-of-its-kind with collaborators such as NIIT for maths lab and IT curriculum, Educomp Digital Smart Classrooms, and Manipal.

BIA Management received the “Best Management Award” for year 2011 from the Education Minister of Karnataka. BIA is one of the six schools selected for the British Council Programme ‘Internationalising Voices’.

BIA includes international activities in their regular curriculum through which students get various opportunities to work with other  schools from rest of the world.

In short, BIA is an institution with good infrastructure and hi-tech education that  blends values and soft skills and is complemented by experienced faculty and visionary management.
