A workshop on ‘Basic Cardiac Life Support’ was held for the teachers and staff of Vael’s Billabong High International Kangaroo Kids, Neelankarai, on March 3.
Dr Prabhu Mayakesavan and his team of medicos from Lifeline Hospitals explained with demonstrations the ways to recognise and transport a choking victim and provide basic first aid for children until professional medical help arrives. The demo of AED and pocket mask were the highlights of the event.
