Upping the glam quotient

Sandalwood’s hot favourite Prajwal Devaraj is making his presence felt on the screen with his forthcoming film Sagar.

He is back this time with three glamorous actresses.

He interacted with City Express and spoke in length about his upcoming projects, his initial days in the industry and experience with director M D Sridar.

Speaking about his early days in films in 2007, he said that he had never expressed his passion for films to his parents.

He said, “Initially my father didn’t want me to enter the film industry.

He wanted me to pursue my education further.

When I got an offer in the film Sixer, directed by Shashank, I wanted to prove my talent.” Prajwal looks up to his father as a best critic of his films and considers his suggestions extremely important in his professional life.

Prajwal is now working on his new project Sagar with co- stars Sanjjana, Radhika Pandit and Haripriya.

When asked about his experience of working with three glamorous girls in the industry, he said, “It is always the director’s choice.

I am excited and also delighted to work with them.

All the three heroines are giving their best to make the project successful and have good acting skills.” Sridhar is a great director to work with, said Prajwal.

Sridhar who also directed Krishna, Student, Chellata and Friends is now directing Sagar.

“I find it extremely comfortable to work with Sridhar.

Even before I wished to discuss the script, he took active interest in discussing it with the actors.

One of his best qualities includes him not compromising on anything.” He further added that all elements of commercial films like comedy, romance and action are merged well in his forthcoming film.

Bringing in his management skills in promoting the films he said, “As this film is under Ramu Enterprises banner, the film is well promoted.

They tried to make this movie memorable for the audience.

Apart from this, I even tried giving suggestions that might help promoting the film as I am a Business Management student.” Prajwal is looking forward to the release of Sagar during the month of April or May and has Gokula Krishna, a family entertainer, Super Shastry, a comedy flick and Galate in his hands too.
