BANGALORE: Officials of BBMP’s health department, South division, on Wednesday, raided Puzzles Mud Plus Hookah Parlour located opposite to Prerana Motors on Lalbagh Road for allegedly serving hookah illegally. About 17 hookah pipes and seven hookah bottles were seized during the raid.
As the officials raided the parlour, the outlet’s owner’s son questioned the officials if they had court’s permission to raid the parlour. They also allegedly tried to manhandle the officials and reportedly attacked mediapersons who were present during the raid. “However, police were informed about the incident and the parlour was raided,” BBMP officials said.
