BANGALORE: Three persons were killed in separate accidents in the city. A realtor was killed after his scooter skidded and he sustained fatal head injuries in HSR Layout 14th Main on Tuesday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Somashekhar Reddy (48), a resident of Haralur on Sarjapur Road.

Jayan (59), a private employee and a resident of Ramamurthynagar, was killed after a lorry hit his motorcycle from behind. The incident took place in front of Girias Showroom near Guddadahalli on Mysore Road on Wednesday. The police said that Jayan was coming towards the city on a Pulsar when a lorry hit it from behind. Jayan was killed on the spot.

Sangeet Kumar Lal, 32, a techie,  employed with a software firm in Whitefield, and a resident of Marathalli was killed on the spot, when a tipper lorry rammed in to his motorcycle near Kadubeesanahalli near Marathalli on Wednesday.

The driver of the tipper lorry is absconding, the police said.
