Shamrock Celebrates 25th Annual Day
Shamrock Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Mogappair, celebrated its silver jubilee annual day on February 4.
Secretary of the school Hajee Md Yousuf welcomed the gathering. Chief guest professor Dr M H Zawahirulla delivered the annual day message and distributed prizes to the school toppers and to the teachers for 100 per cent results and 100 per cent attendance. Professor Dr K H Noorul Ameen presided over the function. Professor M M Ashroff spoke about the education system in his address. Principal Ruby Clement presented the annual report.
The evening came to a conclusion with a lively cultural programme, including dance and drama, performed by the students followed by the national anthem. The event was organised by Hajee Md Ismail, founder of the school, and correspondent Niyaz Ahmed.
