BANGALORE: Addressing the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) review meeting here on Saturday, Gourav Gupta , chairman of BWSSB, called upon the engineers to work efficiently to create a brand image for BWSSB.
He said, “Summer months are very critical for us. We have to ensure equitable and reasonable distribution of water to all the areas by monitoring the distribution system at different levels.”
The special officers who are deployed to monitor the distribution of water during summer, should respond to the grievances of public in their jurisdiction, he said.
He also directed the officials to ensure that the borewells were maintained well in areas where distribution system solely depended on borewells. Venkataraju, engineer in chief, Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Roop Kumar and Babu Kumar, additional chief engineers were present in the meeting.
