BANGALORE: Celebrating Mother’s Day set to the UK calendar, a play care centre for young children, Hide and Peek organised a fashion show on Sunday on its premises. Eight mothers and ten children participated in the event making it a success.
The event had a fashion show for the mother and the kids, a lucky draw, a quiz and massages for the mothers. “It was all about pamperingt mothers and letting them have their own time to relax while spending time with their kids,” said Roshini Thadini, director of Hide & Peek. The theme of the fashion show was summer in keeping with the season around.
This was their way of expressing gratitude to all mothers, who are part of the family at Hide and Peek.
Roshini Thadini mentioned that Mothers Day is a solitary day in the year when we can show mothers how much they mean to their children and express thankfulness for all the love they have showered on them. “This triggered the thought of doing something special on this occasion and we planned to do a fashion show for mothers and their kids,” she said.
Children sauntered into the play area holding their mother’s hand and took a turn with a smile firmly on the face.
One of the mothers, Shamsa, said, “My son feels at home over here. It is brilliant place for moms to relax and spend time with their children. The kids made paper carnations and cards for mothers.”
