BANGALORE: With an aim to offer affordable dialysis facility, Rotary Club of Bangalore, Sadashivanagar, has donated two dialysis machines to M S Ramaiah Memorial Hospital here on Monday.
A memorandum of understanding (MOU) has been singed between M S Ramaiah Memorial Hospital and Rotary Bangalore, under which the new dialysis facility will be provided at a subsidised rate to the needy.
“Normally each dialysis costs anywhere between Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,200, but the hospital will charge only Rs 400 to Rs 450. Free services for people who cannot afford it will be provided,” said a rotary member.S
