BANGALORE: At an incident reported in K R Puram limits, three students of Government High School in K R Puram are reportedly missing from Tuesday.

Police said the trio have been identified as Kiran Kumar, 16, Manikanta, 17, and Girishkumar, 15, residents of Priyankanagar.

According to police, the three students were found smoking cigarettes before going to the exam hall on Tuesday. The School Principal, who noticed it, adviced them not to do so. Fearing punishment from their parents, they allegedly ran away.

Man Kills Wife

A man killed his 36-year-old wife who was a domestic maid, in the city on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Shivamma. Her husband Shivakumar alias Kumar is working as a watchman. The couple have two girl children. “He was upset as Shivamma could not give birth to a male child. He was vocal about second marriage. The couple quarrelled over the issue on Thursday afternoon and Shivakumar, in a fit of anger, killed her,” the police said. Police are in the look out for Shivakumar.
