BANGALORE: The members of the Karnataka State Bar Council have convened a meeting on April 8 to consider a no-confidence motion against their chairman A A Magadum for not calling a meeting to discuss the irregularities and violations reported during the KSBC’s elections.

They stated that he had not convened a meeting to discuss the March 2 violence at City Civil Court.

“Advocates all over the state are blaming the Bar Council as it has totally failed to handle the situation.

We have directed the secretary of the Bar Council to convene a meeting on April 8 to consider the no-confidence motion against the Chairman,” a press release said.
