BANGALORE: NGO Janaagraha’s team has come up with yet another initiative - Poster Lagao, Corruption Hatao - a poster campaign that revolves around the idea of targeting the corrupt, right under their noses.
They pursued this idea with the State government for over a year and will now finally be putting up these posters on Saturday.
“Now through these posters, we are promoting a number 5616151 to which people can SMS whenever they are asked to pay a bribe. The posters carrying this number will be pasted across all the 400 government offices in the city. The SMSes that we get will be collated for advocating against corruption,” said Subrahmanyam Ivatury, Programme Coordinator, Janaagraha Online.
