BANGALORE: Microsoft India GTSC conducted a five Kilo metre Charity Run to support the NGO BOSCO. The event was flagged off by Thomas Payyapilli, senior director of Microsoft India GTSC and saw an overwhelming participation of over 500 people including employees, their friends and families.
The employees of GTSC demonstrated a spirit that was true to the theme ‘Run for a Cause’ by contributing an amount ` 2,00,000 for the students of BOSCO. The amount will be used in supporting the NGO towards the cost of school uniforms, after-school wear, school bags, shoes and summer camp costs for their school-going children.
All participants were given a certificate for their participation in the event.
